What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address;
- that you confirmed you're 18 or older and agreed to be emailed (the checkbox);
- where you came from, if the link had a tag (for example "tiktok_slide3");
- the date and time you signed up.
When you send feedback about the demo, we store:
- the text you write;
- where you came from, if the link had a tag;
- the date and time you sent it.
That's all. We don't ask for your name, and we don't use tracking cookies. Feedback doesn't need an email, so please don't include personal details in it.
Talmere is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Why
To email you when the app launches. The source tag only tells us which of our videos work, so we know what to make more of. We never sell or share your email for advertising. We use feedback only to improve the app.
Legal basis
Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to us. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before.
For feedback: our legitimate interest in improving the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by writing to us.
Who processes the data for us
- Supabase (Supabase Inc.) — stores the waitlist and feedback. Our database runs on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.) — hosts this website and counts page views without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Like any web server, it briefly processes your IP address to deliver the page.
Both companies are based in the USA. Where data may leave the EU, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Waitlist: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the app doesn't launch, we delete the whole waitlist. Feedback: no longer than 12 months after you send it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, or to send it to you in a common format. Just write to the email above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority in the EU.
